🏆 Competition Format

Preliminary — Round Robin
- Each team plays 3 matches
- Match format: 15 points, rally scoring, win by 2 points
- Point system: Win = 2 points, Loss = 0 points
- Tie-break criteria (in order):
1. Score differential
2. Total score
3. Head-to-head result
4. Decided by Tournament Organizer
- Top 2 pairs from each group advance to Round of 16
- Matches self-officiated and monitored by Court Marshals

Knockout Stage
- Round of 16 & Quarter-finals:
Single game, 21 points, rally scoring, win by 2 points
- Semi-finals & Finals:
Best of 3 games, 15 points per game, rally scoring, win by 2 points
- Matches will be officiated from the Quarter-finals onwards

📘 Tournament Rules
- Tournament will follow the USA Pickleball (USAP) 2025 Official Rulebook.
- Rally scoring system will be applied throughout the tournament.
- Only USAP-compliant paddles are allowed.
- Dress Code: proper sports attire and non-marking court shoes.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct or abusive behavior may result in disqualification.
- DUPR ratings must be submitted during registration and subject to verification.
- DUPR ratings will be verified after the registration deadline on 17 January 2026.
- Any participant found to have provided a false, manipulated, or inaccurate DUPR rating will be disqualified, and all registration fees will be refunded.
- No Time-Out through-out the tournament.
- Maximum of 5 minutes medical time-out is allowed per team per match.
* Failure to resume play after the allotted time will result in a walkover, at the discretion of the Referee-in-Chief.
- Each participant is allowed to compete in only one category per day.
- The organizer and Tournament Director reserve the right to:
a. Adjust schedules or formats if necessary
b. Cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances (fees refunded if cancelled)
c. Disqualify any pair at any time, even during the tournament, if:
- Found forging, falsifying, or misrepresenting eligibility requirements (MyKad, DUPR category, etc.)
- Found to have used another player’s identity or played under a false name
- Found to have violated sportsmanship rules or behaved in an unsportsmanlike manner
- Found to have committed any other action that goes against the spirit of fair play or tournament rules
* All decisions regarding disqualification will be made by the Tournament Director and are final and binding.
* The Organizer shall not be held liable for injury, accident, loss, death, or theft during the event.

Dispute Resolution Procedures
a. Court Marshal Review: First level for self-officiated matches
b. Referee-in-Chief/ Tournament Director: Final authority for escalated cases
c. Formal Protest: RM300 refundable deposit (refunded only if protest is upheld)
* All decisions by the Organizer and Referee-in-Chief are final and binding.

Important Deadlines
- Registration deadline: 17 January 2026
- Withdrawal deadline: 31 January 2026 (no refunds thereafter).
- Substitution deadline: 3 February 2026 (subject to DUPR verification).
- Draw ceremony livestream: 31 January 2026, 9:00 PM
