🛑TOURNAMENT RULES - IMPORTANT‼️

CATEGORIES:
MIXED DOUBLE NOVICE < 3.0

NOVICE DIVISION (Men’s Double & Mixed Double)
1. Player’s individual DUPR must be below 3.099
2. No rating (NR) is not eligible.
3. DUPR reliability score must be above 50%

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
24th January 2026
2.00PM-7.00PM - Men’s Double (Novice)
8.00PM-1.00AM - Mixed Double (Novice)


GENERAL RULES:
1. Players must register 30mins before the tournament start and report to their designated courts on time. A 10-minute late arrival results in a forfeit (no-show).
2. Open to all players with Reclub ID (a clear picture of yours for identification, not animation / pets / objects /cars / or group photos) that sync to a DUPR account.
3. Matches will not be submitted to DUPR.

Payment & register:
1. Registration fee: RM200 per team (RM180 for early bird)
2. Payment method: Transfer via TNG eWallet to 019-3999730 (Toh Tin Wei) and upload the receipt to the general chat to secure your slot.
3. Teams are confirmed only after payment is received.
4. First paid, first served – only 40 team slots available.

Prize 💰:

Champion RM1200 cash + Luzz Cannon x 2 (Worth RM900) + Medal [Total Prize of RM2100]
1st runner up RM600 cash + Medal
2nd runner up RM350 cash + Medal

**More prizes from merchandise will be added pending from sponsors
***Prizes may be adjusted if total registrations are below than the targeted number of teams

Tournament Format (Quick Overview):

• 40 teams divided into 8 groups of 5 teams randomly.
• Group stage: Round-robin, 15 rally points, sudden death, no serve to win. (No time up)
• Top 2 teams from each group advance to R16
• R16/Quarterfinals: 15 points rally points, serve to win at 14-14 (1 time out/team -1 min)
• Semifinals/Final: 21 rally points, serve to win at 20-20. (1 time out/team -1 min)


Declaration‼️:

1. The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event if there are not enough participants
2. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be provided to all registered teams
3. If the event is postponed, registered teams can choose to either retain their slot for the new date or request a full refund.
4. Registration fees is NOT refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed.
5. Prizes may be adjusted if total registrations are below than the targeted number of teams.
6. The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules and format if necessary.
7. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify team that found manipulate dupr rating by submitting fake results (no refund)
8. Only USAPA and UPA-A Approved paddles are allowed, Paddles such as Joola Mod-Ta 15, OEM or other non-certified paddles will not be accepted for tournament play
