Group Stage - Top 2 pair of each group automatically qualified for playoff stage. Top 4 pairs out of 12 will be selected to skip 1st playoff stage, the other 8 will compete for placement.

Playoff Stage - Bottom 8 Pairs will compete in 1st playoff stage. 4 Pairs from the 1st playoff stage will continue and compete against the top 4 pairs of the group stage in the Quarter Final, and continue further into playoff stage as normal.
