🚩Ca-Pickle-Bara Cup 2026 - Men’s Doubles

Ca-Pickle-Bara Cup 2026 is a one-day tournament held on 29 March 2026 (Sunday) in The Sports Arina at Expo. We have all 6 Pro Courts (indoor) from 9am to 9pm on the day, and will run 3 categories of competitions – Men’s Doubles (morning), Women’s Doubles (early Afternoon) and Mixed Doubles (late afternoon). Due to app limitations (and I’m not the brightest bulb in the room), for administrative purposes, each category will be a separate Competition published on Reclub. You can choose to join one or more categories, too! This here is for the MEN’S DOUBLES! Please see the other Competitions on the app for the other two categories~

Welcome to the Men’s Doubles event of the Tournament! Please read the following carefully to understand the format, progression, and match rules.

1️⃣ FOREWORD
Hello hello! We picked up the game several months ago and have not looked back since. Pickleball simply evokes a whole lotta passion and excitement; and our local community has been amazing! Our aspiration is to run a fun, friendly competition where teams get to play as many games as possible. This is *not* the usual knock-out and advancement flow. Thus, Ca-Pickle-Bara Cup 2026 will have a Cup, Plate and Bowl for each category, allowing us to place the teams from 1st all the way to 12th! This is our first time, though, and we are trying our best. Please be kind and we apologise for any mistakes we may make~ (^.^)

2️⃣ ATTRACTIVE GIFTS AND PRIZES

🌹🍰 A big thanks to our Platinum Sponsor – Citadines Berawa Beach Bali Resort – and our Co-Sponsors – Rae.X Sports and Ethed Collective – for the lovely gifts and prizes totalling over S$32,000 in value! • Teams have to turn up and participate in the Tournament to receive the Participation Gifts.

3️⃣ WHAT IS THE CUP, PLATE, BOWL FRAMEWORK?
• Pool Stage: 24 teams are split into 4 pools. Each pool plays round robin. Top 2 teams of each pool head into the Quarterfinals.
• Bowl Battle: All the 3rd place teams from the Pools will be grouped into a Bowl, and these teams will play a round robin to determine 12th to 9th place.
• Winners of the Quarterfinals head on to the Semifinals.
• Plate Playoff: Losers of the Quarterfinals will be grouped into a Plate, and these teams will play a round robin to determine 8th to 5th place.
• Winners of the Semifinals will advance to the Finals.
• Losers of the Semifinals will play for 3rd/4th place.
• Cup: The Finals determines the Champion and Runner-up team.

So there we go, winners advance, but even if you do not win, as long as you are 3rd or better in your pool, you will play a pretty good number of games!

• Players are expected to uphold fair play, sportsmanship, and respectful conduct at all times.
• In competitive play, hard shots to the body — even intentional ones — are a legitimate tactic and part of the game.
