🚫 Eligibility & Restrictions
1️⃣ DUPR Rating Requirement
• The combined DUPR rating of both players must be 6.5 or below
• A combined DUPR of exactly 6.5 is allowed
• NR (No Rating) players are automatically considered as DUPR 3.25
• The organiser reserves the right to review and reassess player eligibility if necessary

2️⃣ Definition of Podium
For this tournament, “Podium” refers strictly to:
* 1st Place (Champion)
* 2nd Place
* 3rd Place
in public pickleball tournaments.

3️⃣ Teams NOT Allowed to Participate
The following teams are not eligible:
• Any team with combined DUPR above 6.5
• Any two players who have previously achieved a podium finish together in a public tournament where the official advertised Champion prize (per team) exceeded RM500 within the past 24 months
• It does NOT matter how the prize was split between players
• The benchmark is based strictly on the official advertised Champion prize amount (per team), not the total prize pool

✅ Allowed
• Podium finishes from public tournaments where the official Champion prize was RM500 or below
• Podium finishes from company internal tournaments that were not open to the public
• Podium Player + Non-Podium Player combinations
• Two podium players who have NOT achieved podium together in a qualifying tournament

📌 Examples
Example 1:
If Ali and Muthu previously achieved podium together in a tournament where the Champion prize exceeded RM500 → they are NOT allowed to pair together.
Example 2:
If Ali (Podium) pairs with Lily (Non-podium) → allowed.
Example 3:
If Ali and Jia Yi both achieved podium previously but with different partners → allowed, as long as they have never achieved podium together in a qualifying tournament.
Example 4:
“I won in 2022.”
→ Podium restriction applies only to tournaments within the past 24 months.

🔒 Strict Enforcement
• Fake DUPR ratings, duplicate accounts, or sandbagging will result in immediate disqualification
• Eligibility checks may be conducted before or during the tournament
• Submission of false or misleading information will result in disqualification without refund
• Players are responsible for ensuring all submitted information is accurate

📢 Protest, Dispute & Conduct Policy
To maintain a respectful and fair competitive environment:
• All appeals or disputes must be submitted privately to the organiser
• Public complaints in group chats, comment sections, or social platforms will not be entertained
• Any participant publicly escalating disputes may face:
* Immediate removal from group
* Disqualification
* Event ban without prior warning
• Attempts to influence decisions through public pressure, tagging, or third-party involvement will result in immediate disqualification

⚖ Final Authority
• The organiser’s decision on eligibility, rulings, and conduct is final
• The organiser reserves the right to reject or disqualify any team deemed ineligible or disruptive
By registering, all participants agree to these rules and decisions.

🎯 Match Format & Scoring
Group Stage (Round Robin)
• Rally scoring
• First to 15 points
• Sudden death at 15 (no win-by-2)
• One game per match
Knockout – Round of 16
• Rally scoring
• First to 15 points
• Sudden death at 15
• One game per match
Quarterfinals / Semifinals / Final
• Traditional serve-to-score
• First to 21 points
• Sudden death at 21 (win by 1, no cap extension)
• One game per match

🔢 Group Stage Tie-Break Criteria
If two or more teams are tied:
1. Most wins
2. Head-to-head result
3. Point differential
4. Total points scored
5. Coin toss (organiser decision)

📌 Match Rules
• Teams must announce score before each serve
• Line calls made by receiving team
• Self-officiating applies if no referee is present

📌 General Rules
• 5 minutes late from official match call time = walkover
• Warm-up limited to 2 minutes per match
• Match schedule must be respected
• Player replacement allowed before event day only (subject to approval)
• No refunds after payment
• Unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in disqualification

Injury Policy
• Maximum 5-minute injury timeout per team per match
• If a player cannot continue, the match will be forfeited
• No replacement allowed once tournament has started
