Our Club, Our Community\nWelcome to Pick a Friend Club Pickleball, where everyone is welcome to play, have fun, stay active, and build lasting friendships through pickleball.\n\nOur goal is simple: Play fair, be friendly, and make sure everyone feels included.\n\n2. Club Rules and Etiquette\nBe friendly. Welcome new players, introduce yourself, and help everyone feel comfortable.\n\nRespect everyone. Treat fellow players, organizers, and opponents with kindness.\n\nShare the court. Give everyone a fair opportunity to play, especially when courts are busy.\n\nPlay fairly. Make honest line calls and respect other players.\n\nKeep a positive attitude. Encourage one another, accept mistakes, and avoid unnecessary arguments.\n\nRespect court time. Be ready when it is your turn, and rotate promptly after your game.\n\nPlay safely. Wear proper court shoes, stay hydrated, and watch out for other players.\n\nKeep the venue clean. Dispose of rubbish properly and take care of club equipment.\n\nShow good sportsmanship. Harassment, bullying, cheating, and unsportsmanlike conduct are not welcome.\n\nRemember: Winning is great, but friendship, respect, and good sportsmanship come first!\n\n\n3. Pick a Friend rotation system\nTo help everyone meet new people and enjoy playing with different partners, the club may use this friendly rotation system.\n\nSign in. Add your name to the player list when you arrive.\n\nWait for your turn. Keep your paddle in the designated waiting area.\n\nMix and match. Rotate partners and opponents after each game whenever possible.\n\nPlay short games. When courts are busy, consider playing to 9 or using a time limit.\n\nGive everyone a chance. Avoid repeatedly choosing only your regular friends or strongest players.\n\nRotate off the court. Once your game ends, leave the court promptly if others are waiting.\n\nWelcome newcomers. Help beginners understand the rules and feel included.\n\nSuggested club policy: Prioritize fair playing time and new friendships over keeping a winning team together.\n\n4. Sportsmanship and Safety\nFor everyone's safety and enjoyment, please remember:\n\nShake hands or tap paddles after every game.\n\nCall “out” only when you are reasonably certain.\n\nShout “Ball!” clearly if a ball rolls onto another court.\n\nNever walk behind a court while a rally is in progress.\n\nStay hydrated and take breaks when needed.\n\nSettle disagreements calmly. Ask the club organizer for help if necessary.\n\nStop playing immediately if someone is injured, and seek appropriate assistance.\n\n5.
