There is no age cap for this division (ie Open).\n\n\nMatch Format:\n\nTeams will be seeded based on their combined DUPR ratings.\n\nAll divisions will play a Round Robin Group Stage with the top 2 pairs of each group proceeding to a Knockout Single Elimination Stage.\n\nGroup Winners are determined by the number of matches won.\nIf two (2) or more teams are tied, they will be resolved in the following order;\n\n1st Tie Breaker - Comparing Overall Points Won\u002FLoss differential\n2nd Tie Breaker - Winner of the Head-to-Head match\n3rd Tie Breaker - Play-off to 3 points match\n\n\nScoring Format:\n\nGroup Stages to Quarter Finals:\nRally Scoring to 21 points, sudden death at 20 points. \nNo timeouts \nChange of sides at 11 points.\n2 minutes of warm up will be allocated.\n\nSemi-Finals to Finals: \nBest of 3 Sets.\nRally Scoring to 15 points, deuce at 14 points. Win by 2 points. Sudden death at 20 points.\n01 x 1 min timeout per team (per set).\n2 minutes of warm up will be allocated.\n\nRules, Conduct & Officiating:\n\nThe tournament will be played on indoor courts.\n\nThe official tournament ball is the Facolos F Pro Ball (Neon).\n\nTeams are to register 30 minutes before the start of their division and to report to their assigned match court 10 minutes before their match or risk a walkover.\n\nA walkover will be recorded as a loss (ie 21-0) in the Group Stage.\n\nPlayers are required to create a ReClub account and join The Sharkies Tribe.\n\nPlayers are required to create a DUPR account and link it to their ReClub account.\n\nMatch results will be submitted to DUPR.\n\nQueen & Knight Doubles (Enhanced Mixed Doubles)\n\nMatches will be played Fixed Position Rally Format.\nAll female players (ie Queen) will remain fixed on the forehand dominant position on the court from the start till the end of the match (e.g Right handed female player will be on the left side of the court).\n\nThere is no need to change positions when a Team has won a rally point.\nThe right to serve is passed to the teammate that won the rally.\n\nThere will be no stacking during the match.\n\nDuring the course of play, should a team be challenged to return a rally (eg lob\u002Fdrop shot), they will be allowed to cross into their partner's side of the court and remain in the opposite position throughout the rally.\n\nAfter the rally point is won\u002Flost, they will reassume back to their original fixed rally position to serve or return of serve.\n\nMale players (ie Knight) must have a lower DUPR than his female player (ie Queen).\nThe total combined DUPR of the team must be less than DUPR 8.00.\n\nGroup Stages to Quarter Finals:\nPlayers will self-officiate and are responsible for line calls and accurate scoring. Officials will monitor multiple courts and may intervene when necessary.\n\nSemi-Finals to Finals:\nAppointed officials will referee and supervise these matches.\nAll rulings and decisions by the officials must be respected and adhered to.\n\nIn the event of any dispute or unresolved on court matters, the Tournament Director will be called upon to interpret rules, resolve disputes, adjust schedules and enforce discipline where necessary.
