Hi! I’m Hale Demetrio, a pickleball enthusiast from CGY (Cagayan de Oro City) who simply fell in love with the game.
I created BIG DINK ENERGY as a safe, inclusive, and fun community for myself, my LGBTQIA+ friends and allies, and everyone who believes that sports are meant to bring people together.
I’m not a professional or even an intermediate player—just someone who genuinely enjoys every moment on the court. That passion is what inspired this club.
Our mission is simple: to build a community where every player feels welcome, respected, and empowered, regardless of skill level, gender, skin color, identity, or background.
We believe pickleball isn’t about playing perfectly—it’s about showing up, learning, improving, and enjoying the game together.
That’s why BIG DINK ENERGY has a zero-tolerance policy for toxicity. We champion sportsmanship, kindness, respect, and encouragement, creating a space where friendships flourish as naturally as rallies.
