Annyeong, pickleball enthusiasts! Welcome to Dink Imnida Club! 🎾✨
Our goal is to create a fun, friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy pickleball, meet new people, and improve their skills. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable game for all players, please read and follow the guidelines below.
⚠️ 1. DISCLAIMER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
* Pickleball is a physical sport that involves inherent risks, including slips, falls, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, and other injuries.
* By joining our friendly games or club activities, participants acknowledge and voluntarily accept the risks associated with playing pickleball.
* Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and health before playing. Please warm up properly, wear appropriate footwear, stay hydrated, and inform the organizer of any concerns that may affect your safe participation.
* To the extent permitted by applicable law, the club and its organizers, hosts, and volunteers shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, or losses arising from participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
* Participants are encouraged to seek medical attention when necessary and to maintain their own personal accident or health insurance.
* Players are responsible for their personal belongings. The club and organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
By participating, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these guidelines and agree to participate responsibly.
🏓 2. GAME RULES & COURT ETIQUETTE
1. Respect everyone. Treat fellow players, organizers, and venue staff with kindness and respect.
2. Play fairly. Follow official pickleball rules and make honest line calls. When in doubt, give your opponent the benefit of the doubt.
3. Safety first. Avoid reckless swings, dangerous shots toward nearby courts, and behavior that could put others at risk.
4. Warm up before playing. Stretch and prepare your body before entering a game.
5. Wear proper gear. Non-marking court shoes and appropriate sportswear are strongly encouraged.
6. Share court time. Follow the organizer’s rotation system and allow everyone a fair opportunity to play.
7. Know your level. Join games appropriate to your skill level and be open to friendly feedback.
8. No bad behavior. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, excessive arguing, intentional disruption, and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
9. Keep the court clean. Dispose of trash properly and take care of the venue and equipment.
10. Follow the organizer. Respect game schedules, court assignments, safety instructions, and rotation decisions.
💗 3. CLUB COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
* We welcome players who want to enjoy the game, make friends, and build a positive pickleball community.
* Friendly competition is encouraged; disrespect and unnecessary drama are not.
* Please communicate politely and notify the organizer promptly if you have concerns.
* Follow the registration, payment, cancellation, and refund policies announced for each event.
* The organizer reserves the right to address disruptive behavior and, when reasonably necessary, ask a participant to stop playing or leave an activity for safety or conduct reasons.
* Photos and videos may be taken during club activities. Please respect other participants’ privacy and ask for permission before posting identifiable images or videos of them.
💧 4. PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES
Before joining a game, every participant is expected to:
☐ Read and understand these rules.
☐ Assess their own fitness and ability to participate safely.
☐ Warm up, hydrate, and use appropriate equipment.
☐ Follow court safety instructions and respect other players.
☐ Immediately report any injury, accident, or unsafe court condition to the organizer.
📸 5. PHOTO, VIDEO & SOCIAL MEDIA CONSENT
* By registering for and participating in our club’s open play, you acknowledge and consent to the taking of photographs and videos of you during the event.
* You authorize the club and its organizers to upload, post, share, and use these photos and videos on the club’s official Instagram page and other club-related social media platforms for documentation, community engagement, and promotional purposes.
* Please be aware that your image, likeness, and gameplay may appear in public posts, reels, stories, or other social media content.
* We will make reasonable efforts to respect everyone’s privacy and dignity. Content intended to embarrass, misrepresent, or harm a participant will not be intentionally published.
* If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the organizer before the game begins so reasonable arrangements can be made.
* Any use of your image beyond the purposes described above will require additional permission where required by applicable law.
