Membership Terms & Conditions
By joining Sexy Pickel PaddlersTribe (SPPT) Reclub, you agree to uphold the values that make SPPT a fun, safe, respectful, and enjoyable place for everyone.
1. Community Values
As an SPPT member, I agree to:
- Treat all members, guests, coaches, hosts, and venue staff with courtesy and respect.
- Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, whether winning or losing.
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment regardless of age, gender, race, religion, nationality, or playing ability.
- Help create a positive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and valued.
2. Fair Play & Sportsmanship
I agree to:
- Play honestly and fairly.
- Respect the rules of pickleball and any event-specific rules.
- Accept line calls and officiating decisions respectfully.
- Avoid arguments, abusive language, intimidation, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
3. Session Etiquette
I agree to:
- Arrive on time for scheduled sessions.
- Follow the host's instructions, court rotations, and playing format.
- Rotate promptly to ensure everyone receives fair playing opportunities.
- Respect court time and avoid disrupting ongoing games.
4. Safety
I understand that:
- Participation is entirely at my own risk.
- I am responsible for ensuring I am medically fit to play.
- I will stop playing if injured or feeling unwell.
- I will use appropriate footwear and suitable equipment.
- I will not endanger myself or others through reckless behaviour.
5. Respect for Facilities
I agree to:
- Respect the venue's rules and regulations.
- Keep courts and surrounding areas clean.
- Report any damaged equipment or unsafe conditions.
- Be responsible for any intentional damage caused by my actions.
6. Members Conduct
SPPT has zero tolerance for:
- Harassment or bullying.
- Discrimination of any kind.
- Violence or threats.
- Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language.
- Sexual harassment or unwanted advances.
- Cheating or deliberately disrupting sessions.
- Bringing the SPPT community into disrepute online or offline.
7. Event Registration & Payments
- Event registrations are confirmed only upon successful payment (where applicable).
- Cancellation and refund policies will be communicated for each event.
- SPPT reserves the right to adjust schedules, venues, or playing formats when necessary.
8. Photography & Media
SPPT may take photographs and videos during events for promotional and community purposes.
By participating, members consent to the use of such media unless they notify the organiser in advance that they prefer not to appear.
9. Liability Waiver
I acknowledge that pickleball is a physical sport involving inherent risks.
I voluntarily participate at my own risk and release SPPT, its organisers, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and venue partners from liability for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by negligence that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Membership
SPPT reserves the right to:
- Decline or revoke membership.
- Remove members from events.
- Suspend or permanently remove members whose behaviour is inconsistent with SPPT's values.
These decisions are made at the discretion of the organisers to protect the interests and wellbeing of the community.
11. Changes to Terms
SPPT may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
