Hello everyone, I’m Coach Viet!
I’m early retired. My mornings are for pickleball coaching and training, and my afternoons are for volunteer work, teaching English to kids in our neighborhood who need extra support, and helping expats with English-Vietnamese translation.
I created this group so friends I know can have a chance to meet, connect, and become friends with each other.
My idea is to organize a friendly get-together dinner one evening each month. We’ll share the cost, share good food, and talk about pickleball, lifestyle, culture, and everything that makes life interesting. We just have one simple rule: No politics and no religion.
There will be great food and a live string music band led by my best friend, Nguyen Thu Viola — Top 10 in the world, so we can all relax and enjoy life more here in Hanoi.
I’m planning our first gathering for a weekend in early September. We have a Japanese friend who already kindly sponsored Sake wine, a very good reason to start!
