welcome to the grid chess club.
the grid chess club is a casual over the board chess community based around bgc and nearby areas. our goal is simple. bring people together through chess over good coffee and good conversation.
whether you're a complete beginner, a club player, or a strong tournament competitor, you're welcome here. there are no membership fees, no pressure, and no requirement to be highly rated. just come ready to play, learn, and enjoy the game.
we usually meet at coffee shops around bgc, especially uptown mall, where we play blitz, rapid, and casual games in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. we encourage respectful competition, post game analysis, and meeting fellow chess enthusiasts from different backgrounds.
