We’re a group of friends (and friends of friends!) who gather every Sunday for badminton—mainly for fun, fitness, and stress relief.
👉 Started in June 2024 as a simple “palo-palo try lang,” the group has since grown into a regular weekend habit. With outfits and gear as a small self-investment, we’ve been playing consistently and steadily improving together.
📍 Where & When
• Venue: DASC
• Schedule: Sundays, 8 AM – 12 NN
• Courts: Usually 2 courts (depending on number of players)
💸 Sharing Costs (Usually Php 280 - 350)
• Court fees and shuttlecocks are split among players.
• We use Tournament/Club Grade shuttles (A+ or A Rating e.g., RSL Tourney No. 1, Aeroplane Red, Ling Mei 20) charged at Php 135 each for a solid hitting and feel experience.
• Players may bring their own good-quality shuttles (e.g., XP2 Silver, Ling Mei 10, etc.), which will be offset at fair market price against the total fee.
🙌 Reminders
• You may invite buddies, but please be mindful of capacity—we want everyone to maximize their time and effort on court.
• Last-minute cancellations still need to share in court fees since reservations are made in advance.
⏰ Court Notifications
• Court reduction will be finalized every Thursday, 5 PM.
• For court/time additions (i.e., the 2nd court at 11AM - 12NN), please inform the group in advance or ASAP by requesting on meets so we can balance players, courts, and schedule properly.
