On-the-fence about your skill-level rank?
Here's another helpful guideline:
(A) = much more consistent/highly-competitive ☆
(BB) = less consistent/moderately-competitive ♤
(BB) = acceptable by Advanced-level players♤
(B) = *ALL* Intermediate/average players *[B+]* ♡
(C) = B- ♧ [casual players]
(D) = CC ◇ [novice players]
Side Note: 《BB players distinctly have better ball-control & are more consistent》 than B players, thus making B players not quite acceptable by Competitive/Advanced ("A-level") players without disrupting the quality of play at a higher competition; only BB/BB+ would actually be able to keep up with playing at a higher competitive level. If you're only capable of playing at a true intermediate-level of volleyball, please just stick with B. ♡
**Safe bet is to start yourself with B rank, then work from there when you've built up some street-credibility through giving each other Kudos after every event!
⚠️ Also, witnesses have claimed: if you think you're a BB player but you're actually not, it's guaranteed you'll embarrass yourself playing in a true BB level game, so best avoid it if you don't want to get dirty looks from other players since you'll likely stand out as not being consistent/skilled enough for playing at the true BB level.
🎯 Point is: Be honest about your self-rating. People will know what skill-level you're "at" regardless.
