Last year, during in covid lockdown and thought I might be dead anytime (really!), I reviewed all my life and found out one of many things I wanted to do but always hesitated for years: Founding a basketball female intl team that not just crazily passionate in basketball and team work but also a family for girl empowerment for its members.
From last December 2021 posted to this Group (below) until now, WE HAVE THAT DREAM COME TRUE! WE HAVE WOLFIE BASKETBALL TEAM. Now these girls are my on court and off court inspiration, motivation and family, that we love each other as much as basketball. Our sisterhood has become big important part of our life and the team became a support system mentally (of course physically sweating together too because sometimes girls gain weight due to stress or imagination🤪)
So we are ready for next chapter with three upcoming events that need your "share" to anyone interested:
1. We love to recruit more members of team A (intermediate or play in 5 on 5 teams before) and team B (beginner level or from other sports who love to get training). Both FUN GUARANTEED!
2. WE WILL OPEN A CLASS FOR YOUNG GIRLS FROM 7-12 years old
WHERE SENIOR GIRLS TEACH THEM NOT JUST A SPORT, GAME-BASED DISCIPLINES TRAINING, TEAM WORK, BUT ALSO RESILENCE AND LIFE VALUES FROM REAL LIFE LEADERS (We are all working female leaders in different industries just happen to love basketball so much). Inbox me for details if you want for your daughters or young teens you know 🥰 we do it for free now for trials until we move forward with bigger scale.
3. We are actively looking for a pro bono performance coach accompanied with our current coach who also loves basketball, used to coach "half pro" teams or varsity teams and shares our values and culture (below). We are not pro team so we cant afford like those but we try our best to cover your cost if we could, or consult your company in return because our team members are experts senior managers and C-level in many global big corps and tech world (proud!)

CALL FOR BASKETBALL LOVERS! 🏀🤸♀️🪂🧘♀️
I know our group has some amazing sports clubs BUT if you love basketball and hang out weekly let's start a fun squad together!
I would call for anyone interested in the below activities - in order for us to form a team of basketball out of this awesome group:
- You love basketball as (or more than) a hobby (sure you dont have to play well but you can practice twice a week, and maybe love it enough to play in some fun tournaments in town) 😉
- We will practice weekly in District 2. With and without a coach. In a mixed team of nationalities.
- We not just meet in court but also make a family where we support each other in court and out of court, especially those with kids or no family in Vietnam (seriously u can play with 3 kids on court like one mom member here as we are one big family!).
- We can organize for our club monthly: wild trekking/hiking/paragliding trips, city cycling, charity visits, yoga retreat and art tours monthly for our mental supercharge beyond our practice day. Sometimes we can have basketball retreat tour in other parts of Vietnam like Dalat, Hanoi etc.
- We share the cost equally, transparently and this is not for profit.
- Female only, but we definitely will play with mixed teams/ men in our weekly courts/informal practice. So dont be worry if you have basic / master skills to join, you always have the right amount of challenge!
- We will have jersey and on our jersey we will put on all logos of our members' favorite charities to advertise their good causes! If we win in tournaments we will donate the money to these charities by poll.
- Our simple core values as a club-fam: Be kind. Be stoked. Be playful.

P.s The pics are my most favorite basketball teams of Japan and Belgium in Olympic 2021 where they showed me fiercely that you dont have to be the strongest teams to win (the titles and the hearts), but the most connected, resilient and passionate ones do.
