We're a group that aims to create an environment that is welcoming to all levels of play, and do our best to even help beginners understand the game and how to play. BUT we can also be competitive 🤣
Backstory on the name: My sister was the one who got me (Vince) into Pickleball and so one day while she was asleep I made a poll with our church friends as to what we should name our club, and i suggested "Chantal's Pickles" and she woke up to us finalizing the name of our club to her name 🤣
Club Rules and Regulations:
1. Everyone Is Welcome
Players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are welcome. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or have years of experience, this is a place to learn, play, and have fun.
2. Respect Everyone
Treat fellow players, guests, organizers, and staff with kindness and respect, on and off the court.
3. Zero Tolerance for Toxicity
Harassment, bullying, discrimination, excessive trash talk, intimidation, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. Keep competition friendly and respectful.
4. Good Sportsmanship
Win or lose, enjoy the game. Celebrate great shots from both sides of the net.
5. Help Build the Community
Encourage new players, be patient with beginners, and help create an environment where everyone enjoys coming back.
6. Fair Play
Play by the rules, make honest line calls, and respect your opponents. Don't be the devil's advocate.
7. Take Care of the Facilities
Keep the courts clean, dispose of your trash properly (trash bags provided), and treat all equipment with care.
8. Rotate Fairly
When courts are busy, rotate in and out so everyone gets a chance to play.
9. Safety First
Warm up properly, be mindful of those around you, and stop play if someone is injured or a safety concern arises. We will not be liable for any injuries 😊
10. Have Fun!
At the end of the day, pickleball is about friendship, fitness, and enjoying the game together.
