Never played pickleball? Perfect.
Have you been wanting to try pickleball but don’t know where to start?
Maybe you’ve watched people play and thought, “I want to try that!” but you’re not sure how to hold the paddle, where to stand, or what the heck a dink is.
Or maybe you’ve already tried looking for an open play, but felt intimidated because everyone seems to be so much better than you.
We get it.
That’s exactly why we’re starting First Rally — a pickleball community created exclusively for total beginners and people who have never played before but want to start.
No experience needed. No need to know the rules. No need to already have your own paddle. And definitely no need to be good.
We’re starting small, learning together, and figuring things out one rally at a time.
We’ll organize beginner-friendly coaching sessions and open plays where we can learn the basics, practice our skills, make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, and eventually play actual games together.
The goal isn’t to become competitive right away. It’s to get comfortable on the court, learn at our own pace, and have fun while meeting other people who are starting from the same place.
Because everyone who looks like they know what they’re doing now had a first rally once.
