🏓 FRIENDLY DINK CLUB
Club Rules & Court Culture Guide
Our Club Philosophy
Friendly Dink Club is more than just a place to play pickleball. It is a community where players of all levels can enjoy the game, improve their skills, and build lasting friendships.
We believe that every great player was once a beginner. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and motivated to improve.
1. Respect is Our First Rule
Respect every player regardless of skill level, age, or experience.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude on and off the court.
No insulting, unnecessary arguments, or negative behavior.
A good player is not only measured by wins, but also by good sportsmanship.
2. Play Fair, Play Honest
Follow official pickleball rules.
Make honest line calls.
If there is doubt, give the benefit of the doubt to your opponent.
Remember: Winning is important, but enjoying the game is the real victory.
3. Beginner-Friendly Environment
Beginners are always welcome.
Experienced players are encouraged to guide, teach, and encourage new members.
Avoid making beginners feel pressured or embarrassed while learning.
Remember: Every advanced player started with their first serve, first dink, and first mistake.
4. Mixing of Skill Levels
To help everyone improve:
Intermediate players are encouraged to play with beginners during selected games.
Mixing skill levels allows beginners to experience proper rallies, strategies, positioning, and game awareness.
Intermediate players serve as mentors by sharing techniques and encouraging improvement.
A strong pickleball community grows when experienced players help beginners level up.
5. Court Rotation & Open Play Rules
Players waiting for a game should be given a fair chance to play.
Avoid occupying courts continuously during busy hours.
After finishing a game, rotate properly and allow others to join.
Be open to playing with different partners and opponents.
6. Competition With Friendship
Play seriously, but never forget the spirit of the game.
Challenge yourself without disrespecting others.
A tough match can still end with a handshake, smile, and friendship.
7. Safety & Court Discipline
Warm up before playing.
Wear proper court shoes.
Stay hydrated.
Avoid dangerous shots or actions that may injure others.
Keep your playing area clean and organized.
8. Care for the Club
Respect club facilities, nets, paddles, and equipment.
Keep courts clean.
Report any damage or safety concerns.
