KITCHEN NOMADS PICKLEBALL CLUB
CLUB RULES & POLICIES
“One Club. One Court. One Family.”
Purpose:
Kitchen Nomads Pickleball Club is a community of pickleball players who come together to play, share, support, and build friendships both on and off the court.
1. RESPECT & SPORTSMANSHIP
• Treat all members, guests, opponents, and organizers with respect.
• No bullying, harassment, insults, discrimination, or unnecessary arguments.
• Play fairly and maintain good sportsmanship—win or lose, respect the game.
• Disagreements should be settled calmly and privately whenever possible.
2. COURT RENTAL SHARING
• Members may coordinate and share court rentals through the club group chat.
• Members who confirm their participation should honor their commitment or inform the organizer as early as possible.
• Court fees and other agreed expenses should be settled on time.
• Be considerate of other players' playing time and follow the agreed rotation.
3. VEHICLE / TRAVEL PITCH-IN
• For tournaments, group plays, and club trips, members may arrange vehicle pitch-ins.
• Contributions should be agreed upon beforehand and shared fairly among participants.
• Drivers and vehicle owners should not be pressured to provide transportation.
• Everyone joining a trip is expected to respect the vehicle, driver, and other passengers.
4. GROUP CHAT
The Kitchen Nomads group chat is for:
• Court schedules and play arrangements
• Tournament announcements
• Club activities and trips
• Important updates
• Sharing pickleball-related information and experiences
Please avoid unnecessary arguments, spam, offensive content, or posts unrelated to the club.
5. FACEBOOK GROUP & OFFICIAL PAGE
The Private Facebook Group may be used for:
• Live videos
• Photos and videos from games
• Club activities
• Member achievements
• Announcements and discussions
The Kitchen Nomads Official Facebook Page is managed by designated Page Managers for official club announcements, features, achievements, and activities.
6. PHOTO & VIDEO POLICY
Photos and videos taken during Kitchen Nomads activities may be shared in the group chat, private Facebook group, or official Facebook page for documentation, memories, and club-related purposes.
If a member does not want their photo or video uploaded or shared, they may simply approach any Kitchen Nomads Page Manager/Admin and request that it not be posted or be removed.
We ask everyone to respect each other's preferences.
7. TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION
• Members are encouraged to join tournaments and represent the club proudly.
• Members participating under the Kitchen Nomads name should observe proper sportsmanship.
• Tournament results—whether a win, loss, or learning experience—are celebrated as part of the club's growth.
• Supporting fellow Kitchen Nomads players is strongly encouraged.
8. CLUB SUPPORT & CAMARADERIE
We support each other.
Members are encouraged to:
• Cheer for fellow players.
• Share opportunities and information.
• Help beginners learn the game.
• Celebrate each other's achievements.
• Support members during tournaments and club activities.
No member should feel left out.
9. CLUB REPRESENTATION
When wearing the Kitchen Nomads uniform, displaying the club banner, or representing the club in an event, members are expected to uphold the club's values of:
Respect • Sportsmanship • Friendship • Teamwork • Support
10. MEMBERSHIP & CLUB PARTICIPATION
• Membership is voluntary.
• Members are expected to follow these basic rules and policies.
• The club may address repeated behavior that negatively affects the group.
• Serious or repeated violations may result in a warning, temporary restriction, or removal from club activities/group spaces, subject to the decision of the club administrators.
11. SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
• Members are responsible for their own personal safety and belongings.
• Follow the rules of the court/venue being used.
• Inform the group or organizer of any relevant concern during club activities.
• Do not play recklessly or intentionally endanger another player.
