Mongolia American Football Association (MAFA) was established in 2009 to promote and develop the sport of American Football in Mongolia.
Currently, MAFA has 6 flag football clubs
and hosts an annual flag football tournament, namely the Independence Bowl and monthly 1 VS 1 tournaments. In addition, MAFA also hosts annual Kids' Flag Football Summer Program for children ages 6-10.
MAFA is in plans to work with local secondary schools to develop its U18 program.
MAFA is awaiting approval for membership at the Mongolian National Olympic Committee and also awaiting approval for re-registration at IFAF as it was a member previously.
