🏀 Rec Club Rules
Game Officials
✅A scoreboard will be used if there are 15 or more players.
✅A referee will officiate each game.
✅Game highlights will be recorded when video coverage is available.
Player Participation
✅First Come, First Play – playing time is based on arrival order.
Game Format
✅Two (2) quarters of 6 minutes each.
✅Running clock throughout the game.
✅✅During the last 2 minutes, the clock will stop on dead balls only if the lead is 10 points or less.
Scoring
✅Standard 2-point and 3-point scoring.
✅And-1 baskets count if the shot is made while being fouled. The player will be awarded one (1) free throw.
Rule Modifications
✅No 3-second violation.
✅Shot clock violations will be enforced.
Sportsmanship & Conduct
✅Players are expected to respect the referees, their teammates, and their opponents at all times.
✅Our referees are volunteers and are not paid. They will make calls based only on what they see, so please treat them with respect.
✅Basketball moves, power moves, and veteran moves are welcome, but everyone is expected to play clean and avoid unnecessary contact or actions that may injure other players.
✅The referee's decision is final. Excessive arguing or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
