Manila GAA was established in 1995, making it one of the earliest Gaelic games clubs in Asia. Its formation coincided with the early development of Gaelic football in the region, particularly around the creation of the Asian Gaelic Games, which helped spread the sport beyond Ireland.
The club was founded by a mix of Irish expatriates and enthusiasts who wanted to bring Irish sporting culture to the Philippines. At the time, Gaelic games were just beginning to take root across Asia.
