Summary: This is a group for BB or above volleyball players to organize indoor open court. You are welcome to invite others that meet the skill level. However, each meet is capped at 18 players. If you are a BB player, then:
*Know of all the technical rules of the game
*Have a thorough understanding of different types of sets to each hitter
*Can accurately serve to a zone regularly
*Can Pass at a Level 2: Most of my passes get to the setter so they can set the outside or right side hitters
*Fully understand how to run a 5-1/6-2
*Proficient at blocking, setting, passing, and hitting.
*Know how to cover the court defensively during a serve and during a hit
*Get 90% of serves, or more, in play
*Know what covering a hitter means
*Capable of playing more than one position
*Play with good sportsmanship
*Show encouragement towards other players on the court without coaching them
Rules: As we use a church building, we ask you to follow some rules to show respect to the church building and its beliefs along with avoiding certain liabilities.
1. Must be 18 or older
2. No Alcohol or smoking of any kind/No drugs
3. Clean language
4. Clean after yourselves (trash to a trash can)
5. No sexual behaviors/languages
6. Good attitude
7. Help setting up/taking down net
8. Don’t show up if you don’t have a spot
9. No show after claiming a spot = Ban from the next 2 meets
10. Welcome to request spots for your friends not in the group yet, but they can come after approval
