The Penang Island Paddlez Club (PIPC) is one of the premier homegrown dragon boat clubs in Malaysia, operating with the official team motto: "One Boat, One Rhythm, One Goal." Founded in 2009 and training primarily along the Tanjong Tokong Tua Pek Kong seafront, the club brings together a passionate community of male and female paddlers of all fitness levels. PIPC balances an open, beginner-friendly atmosphere with high-level athletic excellence. Their intensive weekly regimen combines sea rowing sessions with functional dry-land strength training to master the full-body synchronicity needed to power a dragon boat.
🏆 Club Achievements & Accolades
PIPC boasts a strong history of success, including championship titles at the 10th Korea Open Busan, 9th Sabah International Dragon Boat Race, and the Pendang Dragon Boat Regatta. They have also secured top spots at the Penang International Dragon Boat Regatta and represented Malaysia at international events in China, including the Longgang International and Fuzhou Invitational races.
