Why This Pickleball Group Exists
Hi, I’m Maru — and I picked up a tennis racket for the first time at 36. No sports background, no idea what I was doing, just a quiet hope to try something new.
Then I discovered pickleball — and instantly fell in love. But as a total beginner with no formal training, I often felt too shy to join games with more experienced players. I know what it’s like to hold back because you're afraid you’re not “good enough.”
That’s why I started this group.
It’s a space for people like us. The curious, the new, the rusty. Anyone who just wants to play without pressure, move their body, and connect with others — regardless of skill or background.
No judgment. No competition. Just joy, laughter, and community.
