Welcome to Rally Ram! Our mission is to build a vibrant, inclusive community built on fun, respect, and competitive spirit. By playing, you agree to these guidelines:
Section 1: The Core Principles (The "Rally Ram Way")
Respect Everyone: Treat all players with courtesy. Rudeness, yelling, profanity, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
Inclusivity: We welcome all skill levels, ages, races, and backgrounds. No discrimination of any kind.
Good Sportsmanship:
Acknowledge good shots (including your opponent’s!).
Call your own lines fairly (if you're unsure, it's 'In').
Always apologize for a net cord/"let" cord that wins you a point (even if accidental!).
End every game with a polite tap of paddles or handshake.
Section 2: Court Safety & Etiquette
Court Access: Only wear non-marking court shoes. No muddy/street shoes allowed on the surface.
Paddle Stacking/Waiting: Use the paddle-stacking system (or current queue system) to claim your spot in line. Respect the order.
Interrupting Play: Never walk onto or behind a court where a point is in progress. Wait for a break in action.
Ball Retrieval: If your ball goes into another court, do not run after it. Wait and call "BALL ON!" so they know to stop play. When returning a ball, wait for their point to end and roll/throw it gently back to their baseline.
Section 3: Play & Equipment
Rule Adherence: All standard USA Pickleball (USAPA) rules apply, unless specific "house rules" for a social event are announced. We are happy to help new players learn!
Paddle Quality: While all paddle materials are allowed, ensure yours is not damaged or delaminated, which could be dangerous or create an illegal "double hit."
Game Format: The standard format is "Open Play" (rotation of players after one game to 11). This allows everyone to play with different people
Section 4: Club Membership
Membership Status: Membership is open to the public.
Court Fees: Current court usage fees/guest fees must be paid prior to playing or after playing.
Section 5: Enforcement
Rally Ram aims for a self-policing community based on maturity.
Minor rule breaches will be met with a friendly reminder.
Severe or repeated violations (theft, physical altercations, severe harassment) may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the club and facility with no refund.
