The Story Behind Smash N’ Sorry

We’re just three friends who started playing pickleball this year. Somehow, 3 AM became our usual playtime, almost every Sunday. While most people were still asleep, we were already on the court, ready to play.

There came a time when we booked a court and nobody showed up. Just the three of us. So we played anyway. Sometimes it was 1-on-1, taking turns winning and losing, and sometimes it was 1-on-2. We kept playing until we eventually got bored of playing with the same people.

That’s when we discovered Reclub. We thought it would be a good way to meet other players and find people to play with. Booking games with friends wasn’t always easy, especially when everyone had different schedules. So we thought, why not start our own club?

Our first open play? Nobody showed up.

But we didn’t stop there. We created our logo, came up with the name **Smash N’ Sorry**, made our banner, and decided to give it another shot. This time, we officially opened our doors to everyone.

We set a limit of 20 players, hoping to get enough people to fill the courts. And guess what? We filled all 20 slots right away!

From three friends playing at 3 AM to a full house on our first official open play, we’re grateful for everyone who has become part of our journey.

And we’re just getting started! As our club continues to grow, we’re inviting more players to join the Smash N’ Sorry community. Whether you're new to pickleball or have been playing for a while, there's always room for you on our courts.

We’re also on a little tour around Davao, exploring and playing at some of the city's best pickleball courts. Different venues, new faces, and more games to enjoy along the way.

Smash N’ Sorry started because three friends wanted more people to play with. Now, we hope to keep growing, making new friends, and creating more good games and good memories with everyone we meet.
