🏓 SVPC: From Small Serves to Big Smashes

The Beginning

SVPC (Seamens Village Pickleball Club) began as a small group of neighbors who simply wanted to stay active, have fun, and share laughter on the court. What started with a few paddles, one net, and a big dose of enthusiasm quickly grew into a regular community of players who found family in every rally.

It wasn’t about medals back then — it was about connection, curiosity, and that spark of joy every time someone hit their first clean dink.

The Growth

From casual rallies came structure and spirit. SVPC began hosting regular Open Play sessions, training its members, mentoring beginners, and organizing friendly tournaments that built both confidence and camaraderie.
Each event strengthened the bond between players — transforming what was once a simple weekend pastime into a united, disciplined, and purpose-driven club. Members started stepping up as leaders, mentors, and match officials, proving that SVPC wasn’t just growing in numbers, but in heart and skill as well.

Events like Kickoff I, Kickoff II, and the now-beloved Dinktoberfest marked our rise as a full-fledged sports community. Uniforms were introduced, divisions were organized (Beginner, Novice, Low & High Intermediate), and through Paddle Up Academy, SVPC began shaping the next generation of players and coaches.

The Present

Today, SVPC stands proud as a thriving hub of pickleball passion and community connection — with milestones that reflect both heart and hard work:
• 🤝 Community Partnerships – Collaborating with CHPC, and soon expanding to local chapters and barangay sports programs, to bring pickleball to every corner of the community.
• 🎓 Certified Coaches & Referees – Our members are preparing for PPR Level 1 and PPF certification this coming November and December, ensuring SVPC continues to meet international standards of excellence.
• 🎉 Signature Events – Keeping the courts alive with year-round events that mix sport and spirit: from Dinktoberfest to Halloween Smash, our festive Christmas Bash, and many more tournaments that celebrate both play and passion.

The Spirit

SVPC has become more than just a club — it’s a family of athletes, mentors, and friends bound by shared values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community.
