1. Court Entry & Rotation
First-come, first-served:
Courts are usually open play: no reservations just take turns.
2. Fair Play & Courtesy
Introduce yourself and be friendly say hello to those you haven’t met.
Encourage players of all skill levels and be respectful open play is social.
3. Play & Scoring Basics
Games are generally played to 11 points, win by 2.
Call the score clearly before serving.
4. Court Etiquette & Safety
When you’re not playing:
- Stay off active courts wait outside until it’s your turn.
- Do not walk behind active games; wait until play stops.
- Avoid crossing through a court during a rally; wait until the point ends.
- Yell “Ball!” if a stray ball enters a court.
Safety gear & behavior:
- Wear proper court shoes (non-marking soles).
- Avoid backing up blindly turn and move sideways.
- Hydrate and be aware of other players’ space.
5. Interacting With Others
Be courteous to beginners and players of different skill levels.
Avoid dominating play with extremely strong shots when playing with less-experienced players.
Compliment good play including opponents and paddle-tap at the end of games.
6. Court Care
Keep courts clean remove trash, water bottles, bags, etc.
Respect net systems and facilities.
