The Vanguard

Pickleball · 15 members · 57 activities

The Vanguard is building a community one session at a time, starting with pickleball.

Every session pairs coach-led play with trivia and Bingo Connect, our networking game, so you leave knowing more people than you arrived with.

WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who enjoys a good game, a good conversation and a bit of a sweat. Founders, professionals, freelancers, people between roles and people new to the area all play here. If you want to meet people, you are in the right place. All skill levels are welcome: if you can keep score and get your serve over the net, you're in. If you cannot yet, do not worry, someone on court will gladly show you.

HOW A SESSION WORKS
We rotate players within and across courts, so you're never stuck playing with just the people you came with. Half the point of a session is who you end up talking to between games, not just who you're paired with. Bring your business card, or at least be ready to swap numbers. Connecting shouldn't stop when the games do.

WHAT TO WEAR
Wear athletic clothes you are comfortable playing in and comfortable meeting people in, since you will be talking to a lot of them.
