Ukrainian Healthy Lifestyle Initiative (UA HeLSI) is a civil society organization uniting professionals in health, psychology, body-based practices, and rehabilitation. It was founded by Ukrainian refugees in Europe with the mission to support the physical and mental well-being of people affected by war through trauma-informed, evidence-based, and somatic methods.
One of our key areas of focus is the promotion of the Ukrainian rehabilitation system “PRAVYLO” — a method that combines body stretching, deep muscle activation, and neuroplasticity. This technique has been revived and adapted for modern use as an effective tool for managing chronic pain, trauma recovery, and stress-related disorders.
Our approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic practices, massage, self-help techniques, and the healing power of community.
