Welcome to [Degen (deê-jên) Club]! We are thrilled to have you as part of our growing family of padel enthusiasts. To ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all members, your participation in any community activity signifies your agreement to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Code of Conduct
All members and their guests are expected to uphold a high standard of sportsmanship and personal conduct.
* Respect: Treat all members, guests, facility staff, and opponents with courtesy and respect, both on and off the court. Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
* Sportsmanship: Play with fairness and integrity. Respect the rules of padel and the calls made during a match.
* Safety: Prioritize the safety of yourself and others. Use the racket wrist strap at all times during play. Be aware of your surroundings and other players. Report any unsafe conditions or injuries to a community organizer immediately.
* Facility Care: Respect the court and facility property. Please dispose of trash in designated bins and leave the courts and common areas clean for the next players.
2. Membership & Participation
* Eligibility: Membership is open to all individuals who agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
* Fees: read the events description
* Guests: Members are responsible for their guests. All guests must be made aware of and are expected to follow the community's Code of Conduct and rules.
3. Court Booking & Cancellations
* Cancellation Policy: Fees are not refundable unless you have a substitute that is approved by the Degen Club admin.
* No-Shows: Members who fail to show up for a booked session may be liable for the full court fee for their spot. Repeated offenses may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
4. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
Padel is a physical sport with inherent risks of injury.
* By participating in any Degen Club activity, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
* You agree that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit to play.
* You hereby release Degen Club, its organizers, volunteers, and other members from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may arise from your participation in community activities.
5. Photo & Video Consent
To celebrate our community, document our events, and promote the sport of padel, we often take photographs and record videos during our sessions and events.
* Grant of Consent: By attending or participating in any Degen Club activity, you grant Degen Club and its authorized representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to capture, use, reproduce, and publish photographs, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of you.
* Purpose of Use: These images and recordings may be used for promotional, advertising, educational, and community-building purposes, including but not limited to:
* Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
* Our official website and communication channels (e.g., WhatsApp group updates)
* Printed materials like flyers or banners
* Press releases and media outreach
* No Compensation: You understand and agree that you will not receive any form of payment, royalty, or other compensation for the use of these images or recordings. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product.
* Opt-Out Provision: We respect your privacy. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please make yourself known to the event organizer or the designated photographer/videographer at the beginning of the session. We will make a reasonable effort to accommodate your request and exclude you from focused shots. Please note that you may still appear incidentally in the background of wide-angle or group shots.
6. Communication
The primary channel for official community announcements, including schedules and updates, will be the [e.g., Official WhatsApp Group]. It is the member's responsibility to stay informed by monitoring this channel.
7. Amendments
Degen Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes via our official communication channels. Continued participation in community activities will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
8. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By joining Degen Club and/or participating in any of our games, events, or activities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
