CLUB PARTICIPATION DISCLAIMER & EVENT AGREEMENT
Effective for all G, LARO!™ members and participants
By joining G, LARO!™ Pickleball Community and/or registering for or participating in any Open Play, game, tournament, clinic, social session, competition, or other G, LARO!™ activity (“Event”), you acknowledge, understand, and mutually agree to the following:
1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Participation in G, LARO!™ activities is voluntary. You choose to participate based on your own judgment, physical condition, ability, and comfort level.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Pickleball is a physical sport and involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, slips, collisions, contact with paddles or balls, strains, sprains, fractures, injury, illness, property damage, serious injury, and, in rare circumstances, death.
By participating, you acknowledge these inherent risks and voluntarily accept responsibility for participating within your own abilities.
3. PERSONAL SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
Each participant is responsible for:
* Playing within their own physical abilities;
* Using appropriate footwear and equipment;
* Staying properly hydrated;
* Following safe playing practices;
* Informing the organizer of any relevant limitation that may affect safe participation;
* Immediately stopping play when experiencing pain, dizziness, injury, or other concerning symptoms.
When in doubt, sit out.
4. FAIR PLAY & CONDUCT
G, LARO!™ is built around:
GOOD PEOPLE. FAIR PLAY. MORE GAME.
All participants agree to play fairly, respect fellow players, organizers, venue staff, equipment, and facilities, and follow the applicable rules and rotation system.
Aggressive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intentionally dangerous, or seriously disruptive behavior may result in removal from an Event or restriction from future G, LARO!™ activities.
5. VENUE RULES
G, LARO!™ Events may be held at different third-party venues.
Participants agree to comply with the rules, safety requirements, policies, and reasonable instructions of the venue and its authorized personnel.
Venue-specific entrance fees, waivers, cancellation policies, and other requirements may apply separately.
6. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Participants remain responsible for their own paddles, phones, wallets, bags, equipment, and other personal belongings.
G, LARO!™ does not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
7. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
If an emergency occurs, reasonable assistance or emergency medical services may be requested when appropriate.
Any medical, hospital, ambulance, medication, or related expenses are the participant’s responsibility unless otherwise expressly provided by the venue, Event, or applicable law.
8. PHOTOS & VIDEOS
G, LARO!™ may take photographs or videos during Events for community documentation and promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in G, LARO!™ photographs or videos, please inform the organizer before or during the Event and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.
9. EVENT REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
Registration for an Event means that the participant agrees to the specific Event details, fee, schedule, player limit, rotation format, cancellation/transfer conditions, and venue requirements communicated for that Event.
A confirmed slot may be subject to the Event’s stated payment and cancellation policies.
10. PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
By joining G, LARO!™ and/or registering for or participating in any G, LARO!™ Event, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read and understand this Disclaimer and agree to abide by it.
No separate signature is required for this Club Participation Agreement, subject to applicable law.
