VOLLEYBALL GROUP RULES
Our volleyball group aims to be welcoming, organized, and enjoyable for everyone. Non-compliance with the rules below may result in removal from the chat.
1. Respect: Treat all members with courtesy and respect both on and off the court.
2. RSVP Requirements:
• A GroupMe event will be created for every Sunday volleyball session. Please RSVP directly on the event page, not through messages or other comments.
• If you are bringing a friend, notify the organizer in advance.
• Do not show up without RSVPing; this complicates logistics for everyone.
3. Event Planning:
• Events will be created by Thursday/Friday and will close on Saturday at 3 PM. This gives the organizer enough time to determine the number of courts needed and make reservations.
4. Payment Obligations:
• This is a paid event. If you RSVP but are a no-show, you are still responsible for the payment unless you find a substitute.
• Payment is due by Saturday at 5 PM. Failure to pay on time or consistently will not be tolerated.
5. Timeliness: Arrive on time. Late arrivals can disrupt gameplay and may limit your playtime.
6. Behavioral Expectations: Maintain good sportsmanship, avoid excessive arguing, and uphold a respectful playing atmosphere.
7. Communication Etiquette:
• Keep group chat communications relevant to the event.
• Avoid off-topic messages and excessive notifications to ensure event planning remains organized and streamlined.
