NALBU Bai Club is a pickleball group in Cagayan de Oro, started by Eric and John. The name is "Bunal" spelled backwards, a small joke about doing things our own way. Inside the club, everyone is a Bai.
We keep it simple. Three things matter here.
Friendship. We came to play, but we stay for each other. Whether you picked up a paddle last week or have played for years, there is room on our court. Newcomers get a game, a laugh, and a spare paddle if they need one.
Fair game. We call the lines honestly, follow the rules, and respect every decision, even the ones that go against us. A win means more when nobody doubts it.
Anti-pasikat. Good shots deserve applause, but showing off does not. We have no patience for yabang or ego. Play well, stay humble, and the rest of us will cheer for you.
Our motto: Bunal ta, Bai, pero walay pasikat.
If that sounds like your kind of game, come play with us.
