Founded in 2025, PHOMOSA is a Pickleball team mainly formed by Taiwanese players working and living in Vietnam.
Our name comes from “Formosa,” the historical name of Taiwan, representing our roots and cultural identity. By replacing “FOR” with “PHO,” inspired by Vietnam’s iconic noodle dish, we highlight our strong connection with Vietnam.
The name PHOMOSA symbolizes the fusion of Taiwanese and Vietnamese cultures, as well as the unity of overseas Taiwanese communities.
Through Pickleball, we aim to:
• Promote a healthy and positive sports culture
• Build friendship and cultural exchange between Taiwan and Vietnam
• Strengthen community bonds
• Connect people through sports
PHOMOSA is not just a team — it is a family that bridges cultures through passion and sports.
PHOMOSA 成立於 2025 年，是一支以在越南工作的台灣人為主所組成的 Pickleball 球隊。
隊名源自「Formosa（福爾摩沙）」，象徵台灣的歷史與文化根源；同時，我們將「FOR」改為「PHO」，取自越南最具代表性的國民美食——河粉（Pho），代表我們與越南這片土地的深厚連結。
PHOMOSA 這個名字，充分展現了台灣與越南文化的融合精神，也象徵海外台灣人在異地的團結與歸屬感。
透過 Pickleball 運動，我們希望：
