Project1Trail takes you to Leyte for the Ormoc Trilogy: 2D1N hosted mountain experience featuring Lake Janagdan, Alto Peak, and Malingatong, with Sulfatara forming part of our Day 1 route.

An overnight journey brings us to Ormoc, followed by two days of mountain activities — beginning with Lake Janagdan and Sulfatara, then taking on the Alto Peak → Malingatong traverse.

🗓️ ITINERARY

DAY 0 — TRAVEL TO ORMOC

Cebu → Ormoc

Participants arrange their own transportation going to Ormoc.

Cebu ↔ Ormoc transportation is NOT included in the climb contribution.

Day 0 is our designated travel and arrival day, with the mountain activities beginning the following day.

DAY 1 — LAKE JANAGDAN + SULFATARA

We begin our mountain adventure with Lake Janagdan, together with the Sulfatara portion of the route.

After the day’s activities, we recover and prepare for the following day’s traverse.

DAY 2 — ALTO PEAK → MALINGATONG

The main traverse of the trilogy.

We ascend Alto Peak, continue toward Malingatong, complete the planned traverse, and descend from the route.

Expect this to be the longer and more physically demanding hiking day of the trip.

After the descent, participants arrange their own onward transportation.

✅ HOW TO BECOME A CONFIRMED JOINER

Requesting to join does NOT automatically secure your slot.

Our registration process is:

01 — REQUEST TO JOIN

Your request will be reviewed by the organizers.

02 — GET WAITLISTED
Once your request has been accepted and your status is updated to Waitlisted, you may proceed with payment.

WAITLISTED ≠ CONFIRMED
Being waitlisted means you have reached the payment stage. Your participation is not yet officially secured.

03 — PAY THE ₱2,000 DOWN PAYMENT
Once waitlisted, settle the required:

₱2,000 DOWN PAYMENT
Payment must be sent to the assigned GCash QR code provided by the organizers.

04 — SEND YOUR PROOF OF PAYMENT
After making the payment, send a clear copy or screenshot of your GCash transaction receipt.

05 — GET ADDED TO THE OFFICIAL PARTICIPANTS LIST
Once your payment or proof of payment has been received and verified, your name will be added to the Official Participants List.

📌 JOINER RULINGS

01 — REQUESTING TO JOIN DOES NOT SECURE A SLOT
A join request only begins the registration process.

02 — WAITLISTED DOES NOT MEAN CONFIRMED
Do not consider yourself a confirmed participant simply because your ReClub status says Waitlisted.

03 — PAYMENT IS ONLY MADE AFTER BEING WAITLISTED
Please do not send the down payment before your registration has reached the waitlisted stage.

04 — ₱2,000 DOWN PAYMENT
The required down payment is ₱2,000, payable through the assigned GCash QR code.

05 — PROOF OF PAYMENT IS REQUIRED
After payment, send your transaction receipt or screenshot to the organizers.

06 — OFFICIAL PARTICIPANTS LIST = CONFIRMED
Your slot is officially secured only once your payment has been received/verified and your name has been added to the Official Participants List.

07 — ONLY 15 SLOTS ARE AVAILABLE
The Ormoc Trilogy is limited to 15 participants.
Once all slots are confirmed, registration may be closed.

08 — REMAINING BALANCE
The remaining ₱1,600 balance must be settled according to the payment schedule provided by the organizers.

09 — CANCELLATION & REFUND
Cancellation and refund arrangements are subject to the event’s stated cancellation policy.

10 — SLOT TRANSFERS
If you can no longer attend, coordinate with Project1Trail before transferring your slot. Replacement participants must complete the required registration process.

11 — SAFETY COMES FIRST
The itinerary may be modified, shortened, postponed, or cancelled when weather, trail conditions, local regulations, transportation conditions, or other circumstances affect participant safety.

🏔️ WHO SHOULD JOIN?

The Ormoc Trilogy is suited for hikers who are comfortable with:

• Multi-day hiking
• Consecutive days on the trail
• Early starts
• Extended hiking hours
• Ascents and descents over varied terrain
• Longer traverses
• Following group and safety protocols

You don’t have to be the fastest hiker in the group.

But you should come prepared for the mountains you’re signing up for.

The ₱2,000 down payment is payable only after your ReClub request has been waitlisted.
