Drill session 3: Kitchen Offense & Defense Cancelled

🏓 Drill & Play Session — 2 Hours

A relaxed but structured session for players who want to improve their game, get plenty of ball touches, and then immediately apply what we practice in real doubles.

What this is NOT: it's not an open play with 40 participants, it's also not a private coaching session. This is an initiative to help each other improve skills. We share the court rental cost.

We aim to fill 2 courts, 1 for novice and 1 for intermediate level players.

No fees other than shared court rental fee, 4 people max. per court.

Hour 1 — Skills & Drills We’ll work through a few focused blocks:
1. Dinking & placement - Consistency, cross-court angles, move opponents
2. Speed-up selection - Recognize when to attack
3. Blocks & counters - Defend an attack without panicking
4. Hands battle - Compact volleys and reactions

Most drills will be done in pairs with lots of repetitions, followed by short game-like challenges.

Hour 2 — Doubles Play We’ll rotate and play doubles games, with the goal of applying the skills from the first hour during real points.

Session vibe: friendly, social and improvement-focused. No pressure, no tournament atmosphere — just good practice, good rallies and good games.

This is session 3 of 4 standalone sessions. You can sign up for one or all. The cost is a shared court rental for 2 hrs.

1️⃣ Session 1 — Core shots
Dinking, speed-ups, volleys, forehands, backhands

2️⃣ Session 2 — Serve to kitchen progression
Serve, return, third-shot drop/drive, transition and resets

3️⃣ Session 3 — Kitchen offense & defense
Cross-court dinks, attacks, blocks/counters

4️⃣ Session 4 — Lobs, overheads & recovery
Lobs, overhead smashes and placement, recovery footwork, reset after a lob
