Road to 3.5: Shot Selection — Reading the Attackable Ball

For beginners & developing players (18 & above)

📌 Program Highlights:
3.0 players don't lose hand battles because their hands are slow. They lose them because they start them on the wrong ball. A player sees a ball that looks a bit high, fires away, and gets it punched back past them. Or they get scared, dink the perfect setup back, and wait for a ball that never comes. The Speed-Up program taught the Green Light ball. At 3.5, ball height is only the first of three checks. Players also need to know whether their own body is in a position to attack, and whether the opponent is ready to counter. Then they pick the right attack for that ball.
Players shouldn't attack because they're bored. They should attack because all three checks pass.
Remember: Ball. Body. Opponent. Three checks, one decision.
