Rules & Regulations

1. Registration
Category: Women’s Doubles Novice (DUPR 2.75 & Below)
Date: Sunday, 24th August 2025
Schedule: 5pm - 8pm
Venue: The Pickle Tree, Puchong
Total Teams: 20 Team
Age: Open to all ages
Registration Deadline: Sunday, 24th August 2025

2. Prizes
● Champion: RM400 + Medals
● 1st Runner-Up: RM300 + Medals
● 2nd Runner-Up: RM200 + Medals

3. Eligibility
● Players with a maximum of 1 Novice tournament win are eligible to participate in this tournament (1 maximum trophy in their reclub account)
● Players who have won multiple (2 or more trophies in their reclub account) Novice tournaments are ineligible to participate in this tournament.
● Players who have previously won any Intermediate or any higher level tournaments are ineligible to participate in this tournament.
● Players are required to have a clear picture of themselves on their Reclub account, and synced to their respective DUPR account.
● Players with no rating (NR) are ineligible to participate in this tournament.
● Players must have a DUPR rating of below 2.75 at the time of registration. If your rating increases after successful registration, you will still be allowed to compete.
● Players must submit their DUPR profile link along with their partner's DUPR profile link to Captain’s Chat for verification. Once verified & approved with a confirmation text, you may then proceed to make payment to secure your slot.
● If at any point a player is found with multiple DUPR accounts, they will be disqualified & banned from participating in future tournaments. A report to DUPR will also be made.

4. Tournament Format
● Official Ball : Pickle Power
● Total Teams: 20 Teams
● Grouping: 4 Groups of 5 teams each.
● Qualification: Top 2 of each group advance to the Knockouts. Total 8 teams qualify To quarter.
● Group Stage: First to 11 point rally scoring (Sudden Death)
● Quarter-Finals: First to 13 point rally scoring (Sudden Death)
● Semi-Finals: First to 15 point rally scoring (Serve to win at 14-14).
● 3rd/4th & Final: First to 21 point rally scoring (Serve to win at 20-20).

5. Tournament Rules
- General
● Players must register at least 30 minutes before the official tournament start time.
● Matches will be submitted to DUPR.
- Match Attendance:
● Players must report on time, following the official scheduled start time.
● No-show rule: a 5-minute grace period is given before an automatic walkover is enforced.
- Rule Adjustments:
● The Organizer/Tournament Director reserves the right to make any necessary rule changes before or during the tournament.
● The Organizer/Tournament Director reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event if there are not enough participants.
● Incase of cancellation, a full refund will be given to all registered teams.
● Incase of an event postponed, registered teams can choose to either retain their slot for the new date or request for a full refund.
● Registration fees are NOT refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed.
● Prizes may be adjusted if the total registered teams are below the targeted number of teams.
● For any matters not covered in this rules & regulation, the Organizer/Tournament Director will refer to USA Pickleball Official Rulebook as the guiding authority.

6. Payment
Registration fee: RM150 per team
Payment Method: Transfer via TNG eWallet to 016-9934624 (Ooi Jing Yi)
and upload the receipt to the General Chat to secure your slot.

● First paid, first served basis
● Subject to weather condition.
