TOURNAMENT FORMAT & RULES

1. Participants

* 16 Intermediate-level players
* 16 Novice-level players
* Total of 32 participants
* Each participant will be assigned a number through a draw lots system.

2. Draw Lots / Team Formation

* The 16 Intermediate players will draw numbers 1–16.
* The 16 Novice players will also draw numbers 1–16.
* The Intermediate player and Novice player who draw the same number will become a team.

Example:

* Intermediate #7 + Novice #7 = Team #7

This will result in 16 mixed-level teams, composed of:

1 Intermediate Player + 1 Novice Player

3. Bracket Assignment

The 16 teams will be divided into 4 brackets, with 4 teams per bracket.

* Bracket A – 4 teams
* Bracket B – 4 teams
* Bracket C – 4 teams
* Bracket D – 4 teams

Bracket assignments will also be determined by draw lots.

4. Round Robin

Each bracket will play a Round Robin format.

Every team will play against every other team within their bracket.

With 4 teams per bracket:

* Each team plays 3 games
* Each bracket will have 6 games
* 4 brackets × 6 games = 24 Round Robin games

5. Qualification to Quarterfinals

After the Round Robin stage:

Top 2 teams from each bracket will advance to the Quarterfinals.

This gives us:

* 2 teams × 4 brackets = 8 Quarterfinalists

The remaining teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

6. Quarterfinals

The 8 qualified teams will proceed to the Quarterfinals.

The Quarterfinal matchups will be determined according to the tournament bracket/seeding.

Winners advance to the Semifinals.

7. Semifinals

The 4 Quarterfinal winners will advance to the Semifinals.

The winners of the two Semifinal matches will advance to the Finals.

The losing teams will proceed to the Battle for Third Place.

8. Finals and Battle for Third

The Championship Match will be played as:

The first team to win 2 games will be declared the:

🥉 Battle for Third Place

The two losing teams from the Semifinals will compete for Third Place.

The Battle for Third Place will be decided by ONE GAME.

The winner will be declared the Third Place Team.
