To ensure a safe, fair, organized, and enjoyable experience for everyone, all MAPC participants are expected to observe and follow the following session protocols.

I. 🏓 GAMEPLAY & SCORING

Match Format

• All games will be played to 11 points — Sudden Death.

🔄 Picklerlobby court rotation:

To keep games fair, organized, and moving efficiently, MAPC will use Picklerlobby to manage the player queue and court rotation.

👉 Upon arrival, all players must check in with the MAPC organizers first. Your attendance will be logged into PickleQ before you are allowed to enter the playing queue.

🚫 No paddle stacking
🚫 No self-queuing
🚫 No skipping the queue

🏓 Just check in, follow the queue, and enjoy the games!

• All players are expected to follow the designated Picklerlobby rotation system throughout the session.

II. 📝 REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION

Slot Confirmation

• Registration is considered confirmed only upon receipt and verification of payment.
• Slots are allocated on a First-to-Pay, First-Confirmed basis.

Payment Validation

• Participants must upload their proof of payment through the designated Payment Tab.
• A slot will only be considered secured once payment has been verified.

Rescheduling

• Requests for rescheduling must be submitted at least four (4) hours before the scheduled session.
• Requests submitted beyond this period may no longer be accommodated.

Refund Policy

• All session fees are strictly non-refundable.

III. 🤝 CODE OF CONDUCT

Sportsmanship

• All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, integrity, respect, and fairness throughout the session.
• Players must make honest line calls and respect the decisions of fellow players.

Court Etiquette

• Observe proper court decorum at all times.
• Retrieve balls promptly and efficiently.
• Avoid unnecessary delays between games.
• Be ready to transition promptly when your game or rotation ends.

Discipline

The following will not be tolerated:

• Harassment or bullying
• Verbal abuse or offensive behavior
• Disrespect toward players, organizers, or venue staff
• Intentional misconduct
• Reckless or unsafe play

Violations may result in immediate removal from the session without refund.

IV. ⚠️ LIABILITY WAIVER

By participating in any MAPC session, players acknowledge and voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with playing pickleball.

The Maia Alta Pickleball Club (MAPC), its organizers, venue management, staff, volunteers, and affiliates shall be held free and harmless from liability arising from:

1. Physical injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies sustained during participation.
2. Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings and property.

Participants are encouraged to take reasonable precautions and prioritize their own safety and well-being throughout the session.

V. 📸 PRIVACY & MEDIA POLICY

Media Consent

• Participation in MAPC sessions constitutes consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed for community documentation and promotional purposes.

Media Usage

• Photos and videos may be used exclusively for MAPC event recaps, announcements, community updates, and social media promotions.

Opt-Out

• Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must notify the MAPC Organizer before the start of the session.
