Gameplay Rules
Score Limit: First to 11 points wins.
Format: Sudden Death (No win-by-two). We play straight to 11 to keep games moving fast and eliminate extended deuce/advantage games.

Primary Rotation System – Pickle Queue
For the main portion of the session, we will primarily use Pickle Queue to manage player rotation and court assignments. With 18 players across 2 courts, our target is for each player to complete approximately 7 games during the scheduled rotation.

The system is designed to maximise player participation, minimise repeated partner pairings where possible, and provide balanced court assignments throughout the session.

Manual Adjustments: While Pickle Queue will be our primary rotation system, the organizers may manually adjust pairings, player assignments, or court rotations when necessary. These adjustments may be made to help balance skill levels, avoid overly repetitive matchups, accommodate session circumstances, or create a more competitive, enjoyable, and fun experience for everyone.

Please understand that the system-generated rotation is a guide, and organizers may exercise reasonable discretion to make adjustments when they believe it will improve the overall flow and experience of the session. Fair participation remains the priority, and any adjustments will be made with the goal of keeping games balanced and enjoyable for all players.

The exact number of games may vary slightly due to game length, court transitions, delays, manual adjustments, or other circumstances. Our goal is to keep participation as fair, balanced, competitive, and enjoyable as possible.

Match/Partner Requests:
Participants may request a specific match or partner during the session. If you would like to play with a particular partner or request a match against specific players, simply approach and inform the host.

The organizers will do their best to accommodate requests, subject to court availability, player rotation, skill balance, and the overall flow of the session. Requests are not guaranteed, as fair participation and balanced gameplay remain the priority.

Extra Time – Paddle Stacking:
Once the Pickle Queue rotation is completed and players have reached the target number of games, any remaining session time will transition to traditional paddle stacking/open rotation. This allows everyone to continue playing while making the most of the remaining court time.

By joining this activity, participants acknowledge that pickleball is a physical sport that carries inherent risks of injury. Each player participates voluntarily and assumes full responsibility for their own health, safety, and personal belongings. Drive Thru Pickleball Club, its organizers, volunteers, venue partners, and staff shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, illness, loss, damage, or other untoward incident that may occur before, during, or after the event.
