🏓 11TH MPC OPEN ACTIVITY: NOVICE / INTERMEDIATE PLAY

1st Novice–Intermediate MPC Activity

📅 Sunday, October 11, 2026
⏰ 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Middleton Pickleball Club — Court 1
👥 Limited to 10–12 players
🎙️ Hosted by Gervil

READY FOR MORE CHALLENGING GAMES? 🔥

This is MPC’s first dedicated Novice / Intermediate session for players who already understand the basics of pickleball and are ready for more consistent and competitive games.

Unlike our beginner-focused activities, this session is designed for players who can already serve, return, rally, understand scoring and basic positioning, and want to continue improving through actual gameplay.

The goal isn’t to prove who’s the best.

It’s to create a smaller environment where players can challenge each other, recognize weaknesses, improve decision-making, and enjoy longer, more competitive rallies.

PLAY. LEARN. ADJUST. GROW. 🌱

⸻

🎯 WHO IS THIS FOR?

This session is best for Novice to Intermediate players who:

✓ Already understand basic pickleball rules and scoring
✓ Can serve and return consistently
✓ Understand basic court positioning
✓ Can maintain rallies
✓ Want more challenging matchups
✓ Want to improve through playing with players around their level

If you’re completely new to pickleball, we recommend joining our Family & Beginner Open Play from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM instead. 💚

That session is specifically designed to help first-time and beginner players learn comfortably.

⸻

🏓 HOW WE PLAY

We’ll keep this session intentionally small at only 10–12 participants on Court 1.

This means more focused rotations, more court time, and more opportunities to play with different partners and opponents.

🎯 Games are race to 11.

Play competitively—but keep the MPC culture:

Challenge each other.
Respect each other.
Learn from each game.
Compete and still be kind.

Winning is fun, but improvement is the bigger goal. 🔥

⸻

🌱 WHY WE’RE STARTING THIS SESSION

As MPC grows, we also want our activities to grow with our players.

Some members started as complete beginners and are now ready for more challenging games.

That’s why we’re introducing a dedicated space where Novice and Intermediate players can continue developing together.

Beginner today.
Novice tomorrow.
Intermediate someday.

There’s always another level to grow into.

⸻

💚 COMMUNITY KUDOS

Don’t forget to recognize players who make the games and community better through:

Positivity • Teamwork • Fair Play • Patience • Entertainer • Cheerleader • Organiser

The scoreboard recognizes wins. KUDOS recognizes character. 💚
