🎾 SINGLES OPEN PLAY
MATCH MECHANICS & RULES

👥 Match Format & Team Pairing
Game Format: All matches are played in a SINGLES format.
Round 1: Match will be formed randomly on a First Come, First Play basis.
Subsequent Rounds: A Win-Lose system will be implemented to determine matchups.

📋 Scoring & Set Goal
Set Goal: Race to 4 format. The player to reach 4, wins the match.
Game Scoring: Standard tennis scoring applies (0, 15, 30, 40).
Deuce (No Deuce):
1st Deuce (Sudden Death): The very next point wins the game.

🏆 Player Playtime & Recording
Guaranteed Play: All players are guaranteed 3 to 4 matches.
Score: The results of first 3 matches will be recorded on Reclub.
Court Commitment: Players must complete at least 3 matches before leaving the court.

📣 Officiating & Scorekeeping
Volunteer System: We highly encourage non-playing participants to volunteer as umpires or ball boy for ongoing matches.
Player Responsibility: If no volunteer is available, players on the court must keep track of their own scores and make their own line calls honestly.
The Golden Rule: The server should call the score loudly before every point to avoid confusion. If a ball is hard to call, the benefit of the doubt always goes to the opponent!

Start Time: First match at 7:00 PM.
Late Comers: Please ensure you arrive at the court before 7:30 PM.
Warm-Up: Strictly 2 minutes per match.
Estimated Duration: 30 minutes per match.
