Duration: 5 hours
Game Format: Mixed Doubles
Scoring System: Rally Point, first to 11 points
Categories: Novice and Intermediate
Player Rating: Based on DUPR
Required Arrival Time: 5:30 PM sharp
Game Start: 6:00 PM

Important: All players must be at the venue by 5:30 PM for attendance, briefing, and match preparation. Please arrive on time to avoid delays in the game schedule.

CATEGORY GUIDELINES

Novice
For beginners and developing players who are still building their skills and match experience. (dupr 2.0-2.6) 60-80% Reliability

Intermediate
For players with more experience, consistency, and confidence in competitive gameplay. (dupr 2.6 - 3.5) 60-80% Reliability

NR (No Rating)
Players without a DUPR rating are welcome. The organizers will assess your playing skills and assign you to the appropriate category.

The organizers reserve the right to determine final category assignments to help maintain fair and balanced competition.

SIMPLE GAME RULES

1. Mixed Doubles Format
Each team must consist of one male and one female player.

2. Rally Point Scoring
A point is awarded after every rally, regardless of which team serves.

3. First to 11 Points
The first team to reach 11 points wins, subject to the organizers' final scoring and match procedures.

4. Serving Rules
Players must follow the correct serving order and rotation announced by the organizers.

5. Kitchen Rule
Players may not volley the ball while touching the Non-Volley Zone (kitchen) or its line.

6. Line Calls
Players are expected to make honest and fair line calls. If uncertain, give the benefit of the doubt to the opponent.

7. Referee Assignment
Players will be assigned by the organizers to referee matches on other courts. Assigned players are expected to make fair and honest calls and help ensure smooth gameplay.

8. Sportsmanship
Respect your opponents, partners, fellow players, and organizers. Unsportsmanlike behavior, unnecessary arguments, and intentional delays are discouraged.

9. Category Placement
The organizers may assess players and adjust category assignments to maintain fair competition, especially for players without a DUPR rating.

10. Attendance and Punctuality
All players must arrive by 5:30 PM sharp
for attendance, briefing, and preparation. Players must be ready when their matches are called.

11. Organizer's Decision
Any disputes or situations not covered by these rules will be resolved by the organizers. Their decisions will be final for event administration, subject to applicable rules and law.
