1️⃣ WHO CAN JOIN?

To join the tournament:

✅ Must have played in at least 2 Skitter Pickleball Club Open Play sessions
✅ Must arrive before 1:00 PM

⚠️ Late arrival may result in a default, at the organizer’s discretion.

⚠️ Players may join ONLY ONE tournament category.

2️⃣ TOURNAMENT CATEGORY

👨 MEN’S DOUBLES

• Level: Low Intermediate
• Rating/DUPR: 2.50–3.50
• Players: 10 players / 5 teams
• Partners: Random Draw

3️⃣ REGISTRATION & FEE

💰 ₱500 per player

4️⃣ PARTNER DRAW

🎯 How the teams will be formed:

1️⃣ The 5 highest-rated players will each be assigned to a different team.

2️⃣ The remaining 5 players will be randomly paired with them using PickerWheel.com.

📅 Partner draw will be done 3 days before the tournament.

This format is designed to keep the teams fair and balanced.

5️⃣ TOURNAMENT FORMAT

5 Teams → Round Robin → Semifinal → Championship

🔄 ROUND ROBIN

All 5 teams will play against each other.

After all Round Robin matches, teams will be ranked 1st to 5th.

🏆 ADVANCEMENT

🥇 1st Seed → Advances directly to the Championship
🥈 2nd Seed vs. 3rd Seed → Semifinal
❌ 4th & 5th Seeds → Eliminated

🏆 Semifinal Winner vs. 1st Seed → Championship

6️⃣ MATCH FORMAT

Round Robin: 15-minute time limit
Semifinal: 15-minute time limit
Championship: 20-minute time limit

BREAKS

• 3-minute break between Round Robin matches
• 10-minute break before the Championship

7️⃣ MATCH RULES

🏓 First team to 11 points wins.

If time expires before a team reaches 11:

➡️ Team with the higher score wins.

If the score is tied:

➡️ One deciding rally determines the winner.

⚡ MATCH FLOW

Players must be ready when their match is called.

If a match finishes early, the next scheduled match may start early.

8️⃣ ROUND ROBIN TIE-BREAKER

If two or more teams have the same number of wins, rankings will be determined in this order:

1️⃣ Point Difference (PD)
PD = Points For (PF) − Points Against (PA)

2️⃣ Total Points Scored

3️⃣ Coin Toss

9️⃣ TOURNAMENT DAY

🕐 1:00 PM — Player Arrival & Registration
🕑 2:00 PM — Tournament Starts
🏆 After Tournament — Awarding + Photos
🏓 After Awarding — Open Play until 9:00 PM

⚡ If the tournament finishes early, Open Play starts early!
