Pickleball 101: Learn the Basics with Coach Dan

New to pickleball and looking for the perfect place to start? This beginner-friendly training session is designed specifically for players who are stepping onto the court for the very first time.

Led by Coach Dan, a certified pickleball instructor, this clinic removes the intimidation factor and makes learning the game fun, accessible, and easy to understand. You will learn the essential rules, fundamental techniques, and basic strategies needed to confidently join your first Open Play session.

What You Will Learn:

The Rules of the Game: A clear breakdown of how the game is played, including scoring, serving rules, and understanding the Non-Volley Zone (often called "The Kitchen").

Proper Grip & Form: Learn how to hold the paddle correctly from day one to avoid bad habits and establish a strong foundation.

Essential Strokes: Step-by-step instruction on fundamental shots, including the serve, return, and basic dinking.

Court Positioning: Where to stand, how to move safely with your partner, and how to control the court.

About Your Instructor:

Coach Dan focuses on building strong foundational skills in a supportive, stress-free environment. Whether you have never picked up a paddle or have hit a few balls but want to actually understand the mechanics, Dan is dedicated to helping you develop the skills and confidence you need to succeed on the court.
