By entering this session, you agree to abide by the rules of the court, respect your fellow players, and keep proceedings moving smoothly.

No objections. No unnecessary delays. Just good games.

⚖ COURT SPECS & AMENITIES

☑ USAP-standard covered court
☑ Clean restrooms and shower rooms

☑ Restaurant and coffee shop available on-site

🏓 CASE FORMAT

▪ 10 players | Doubles | 1 court
▪ Games are played to 11 points, side-out scoring
▪ Sudden death at 10–10
▪ Partner rotations are generated through PickleQ
▪ Social Mix: partners are rotated before repeating, then opponents are spread as fairly as possible
▪ Ratings are not used for matchmaking
▪ Fixed partners are allowed upon request
▪ Higher-rated players are welcome to join
▪ Pre-match warm-up should not exceed 5 minutes

⚡ KEEP THE COURT MOVING

To keep the docket moving and maximize everyone's playing time:

1. Be ready when called.
Have your paddle and belongings ready before your match.

2. Enter the court promptly.
Once a game concludes, the next players should be ready to take the court.

3. Keep warm-ups short.
Pre-match warm-up is limited to 5 minutes.

4. No court camping.
Once your game is over and you're scheduled to rotate out, please clear the court promptly.

5. Respect the rotation.
PickleQ determines the matchups. Please don't request changes unless you have arranged a fixed partner or have a valid reason.

6. Keep disputes civil.
Line calls and disagreements should be settled quickly and respectfully.

The Courtroom is about playing more and waiting less. Keep the proceedings moving.

Being on the waitlist does not lock in your slot.

Your reservation is only confirmed once your payment has been received and verified.

After payment:

🚫 CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY
24-HOUR CANCELLATION FREEZE

A 24-hour cancellation freeze applies before the event.

Once the event is less than 24 hours away, cancellations will no longer be accepted.

All payments are non-refundable.

If you can no longer attend, you may request to transfer your slot to another person, subject to organizer confirmation.

However:

Finding your own replacement is entirely your responsibility.

The organizer will not be responsible for finding a replacement for you.

Once an approved replacement has been confirmed, please inform the organizer and provide the replacement player's details.

⚠ LIABILITY WAIVER & PLAYER AGREEMENT

By registering and participating in The Courtroom Monday Pickleball Open Play, I acknowledge that pickleball is a physical activity involving inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, contact with equipment or other players, and other accidental injuries.

I voluntarily choose to participate and confirm that I am physically capable of participating in the activity.

I agree to:

Follow the rules and instructions of the organizer and venue.
Play responsibly and maintain proper sportsmanship.
Use the court, equipment, and facilities properly.
Immediately report any injury, unsafe condition, or incident to the organizer.
Take responsibility for my own actions and personal belongings.

🔒 PERSONAL BELONGINGS

The organizer and venue are not liable for any loss, theft, damage, or disappearance of personal belongings or valuables brought to the event.

Players are responsible for keeping their own belongings secure. Please avoid leaving valuables unattended.

🏥 PARTICIPATION & INJURY

I understand that participation is voluntary and that I assume the ordinary risks associated with recreational pickleball.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless the event organizer, venue, staff, and other participants from claims arising from the ordinary risks of my voluntary participation. This does not waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.

By registering and paying for the session, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the rules, payment policy, cancellation policy, and liability waiver stated above.
