OPEN PLAY TERMS & CONDITIONS AND PLAYER WAIVER

1. OPEN PLAY REGISTRATION

* Players must register and pay the applicable Open Play fee before joining a session.
* A player’s slot will be confirmed once payment has been successfully sent and received.
* Slots are subject to availability.
* A Side Pickleball reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who violates the facility rules or disrupts the safety and enjoyment of other players.

2. PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & CREDIT POLICY

* All Open Play payments are non-refundable.
* In case of unforeseen circumstances on the player’s side, the Open Play fee may be converted into credit that can be used for a future Open Play session.
* To be eligible for credit, the player must inform A Side Pickleball at least 3 hours before the scheduled Open Play session.
* Failure to notify A Side Pickleball within the required 3-hour period will result in the player’s slot being forfeited and considered a no-show, and no credit or refund will be provided.
* Credits are subject to A Side Pickleball’s applicable policies and availability.
* A Side Pickleball may cancel, reschedule, or modify a session due to unforeseen circumstances, facility issues, or safety concerns. In such cases, affected players will be informed and offered an appropriate arrangement.

3. OPEN PLAY FORMAT

* Open Play is intended to provide a fun, fair, and inclusive environment for players of different skill levels.
* Players must follow the rotation system implemented by A Side Pickleball.
* Players are expected to play fairly, respect other participants, and avoid excessive arguments or disruptive behavior.
* A Side Pickleball may adjust court assignments, rotations, or session formats when necessary.

4. FACILITY & PLAYER CONDUCT

Players are expected to:

* Follow all A Side Pickleball rules and staff instructions.
* Use the courts, paddles, nets, and other equipment responsibly.
* Wear appropriate sports attire and non-marking court shoes.
* Keep personal belongings secure.
* Refrain from fighting, harassment, abusive language, reckless behavior, or any conduct that may endanger others.
* Immediately report accidents, injuries, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to staff.

Players may be held responsible for damage caused by intentional misuse or negligent behavior.

5. PLAYER WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Players acknowledge that pickleball and physical sports involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, strains, sprains, bruises, and other injuries.

By participating in Open Play at A Side Pickleball, players voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation and acknowledge that they are physically capable of engaging in the activity.

Players are expected to exercise reasonable care, follow facility rules and staff instructions, and immediately stop playing if they feel unwell, injured, or unable to safely continue.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, players agree to release and hold harmless A Side Pickleball, A Side Sports Center, its owners, operators, employees, coaches, organizers, and representatives from claims arising from their participation, except where caused by proven negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be waived.

6. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

In the event of an emergency, A Side Pickleball staff may arrange reasonable first aid or emergency assistance when necessary.

Players acknowledge that they are responsible for their own medical expenses and treatment.

7. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

A Side Pickleball is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Players are encouraged to keep valuables secure at all times.

8. PHOTOS & VIDEOS

A Side Pickleball may take photos or videos during Open Play for documentation, promotional, and social media purposes.

Players who do not wish to appear in promotional photos or videos may inform A Side Pickleball staff before the session.

9. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & WAIVER

By joining and paying for an Open Play session through the Reclub app, the player confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Open Play Terms & Conditions and Player Waiver.

The completion of the Open Play registration and payment through Reclub constitutes the player’s electronic acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and Waiver.

By participating in the session, the player further confirms their voluntary participation and agreement to comply with all A Side Pickleball rules and facility policies.
